WHO WE ARE
The Needle will capture the hearts of any music fan who enters it. A new venue for Edmonton’s live music scene, we offer a full restaurant and bar, coveted second floor mezzanine seating, phenominal sight lines to the stages and a convenient downtown location.
The Needle is housed in the historic Alberta Block Building that was home to the CKUA radio station for 56-years. This location was a match made in heaven as the building practically bleeds local music history.
The Needle Vinyl Tavern integrates music and food to create a unique atmosphere that allows people to socialize in the presence of live musical performances. Offering up live music seven nights a week and also DJ’s spinning vinyl Friday and Saturdays from midnight until closing.
Ample seating comprised of bar height tables, booths and long, communal tables make it the perfect place to meet new people, and to gather with friends for weekend brunch, lunch, happy hour or dinner. The food menus are well-considered, and dishes pair well with our selection of beer, both on tap or in bottles and cans. A robust wine & cocktail menu round out your beverage options.
COMING TO OUR STAGE SOON
Dolly RottenKurt West of the Kurt West Express teamed up with singer/songwriter Goose Wilde to begin the fusion that has now become Dolly Rotten. The idea was to create a cocktail combining hard guitar driven rock and roll with punk rock ideals and wrap it up in a radio sexy southern blue grass ribbon.
